In the event of an operational or public safety emergency related to a Blackjack Natural Resources operated asset, please contact us by calling our Emergency Number at (405) 516-1102. If immediate danger, please call 911 before calling our Emergency Number.

When calling Owner Relations, please be sure to provide your name, owner number (if you have it), owner name associated with the account, and a brief description of what you need. Please note that we can only discuss account information with parties listed on the account.

It is the owner’s responsibility to notify us of any change of address. For the fastest processing, please fill out the change of address form via electronic submission in Energylink at www.energylink.com. Alternatively, you may download and fill out the Change of Address Form and send to Owner Relations at Blackjack Natural Resources, Attn: Owner Relations, 3737 Buffalo Speedway, Ste. 1600, Houston, TX 77098, or via email at ownerrelations@blackjacknr.com. Address changes will not be accepted via phone
It is the owner’s responsibility to notify us of any ownership or status changes to reflect current record title. For ownership changes due to name change (including marriage or divorce) or death, please refer to those specific questions in the sections below.
Requests must be received in writing, accompanied by a recorded conveyance document from the record title owner. New Owners: Please include a W9 with your ownership change request to avoid issues with your year-end 1099.
We encourage all owners to enroll in direct deposit. For enrollment in direct deposit, for fastest processing please visit www.energylink.com and fill out the electronic submission form. Alternatively, you may download and fill out the Direct Deposit Form, include a voided check or bank letter with your ACH authorization form, and send to us via email at ownerrelations@blackjacknr.com or via mail to Blackjack Natural Resources, Attn: Owner Relations, 3737 Buffalo Speedway, Ste. 1600, Houston, TX 77098. Please allow up to 60 days for processing.
The minimum revenue check amount is $100. Revenue checks below $100 but above $10 are paid annually.
Revenue checks are typically disbursed by the last business day of each month, as long as the amount is above the $100 minimum.
The $100 minimum check amount for payment is the most common reason for non-receipt of payment. If you have recently moved, please visit our change of address section for instructions on how to update your address on file.
If neither of these applies, please email us at OwnerRelations@blackjacknr.com or call (469) 776-3600. You may be required to submit a written authorization to stop payment and reissue the check.
If your check has been lost, stolen, or you have not received it within 15 business days of mail date, please email us at OwnerRelations@blackjacknr.com or call (469) 776-3600 to stop payment and reissue it. If a stop payment has been placed on your check, please do not attempt to cash it. Once a stop payment has been placed, the check is voided in our system and we will no longer honor it.
Monthly revenue check details are uploaded to EnergyLink. This secure and integrated website can be used to retrieve your statements and check details.
To create an account, please visit www.energylink.com and follow the instructions listed on their website. In order to finish your account registration, you will need your Owner Number, a Check Number and a Check Amount available. If you encounter any issues with registration, please visit energylink.com/contact.
Following IRS guidelines, 1099-MISC forms are mailed on or before January 31st of each year. If you do not receive your 1099-MISC by February 16th or if the information on your 1099-MISC is incorrect, please email us at OwnerRelations@blackjacknr.com or call (469) 776-3600.
Please email us at OwnerRelations@blackjacknr.com or call (469) 776-3600 to process a name change of an owner. Please provide a copy of the following, as applicable:
- Marriage Certificate
- Divorce Decree
- Court documents showing the name change
Additional documentation may be required after all documentation provided has been reviewed. The owner/heirs are responsible for recording fees. Please contact the applicable county for recording fee information.

If the owner had a Will and probate proceedings have occurred, please provide a copy of the following:
- Death Certificate
- Last Will and Testament recorded in the county where the property is located
- Order Admitting Will to Probate recorded in the county where the property is located
- Testamentary Letters recorded in the county where the property is located
- A completed IRS Form W-9 for the new owner(s)
If the owner did NOT have a Will and probate proceedings will NOT occur, please provide a copy of the following:
- Death Certificate
- Two notarized Affidavit of Death & Heirship forms completed by two disinterested parties. Both forms must be recorded in the county where the property is located
- A completed IRS Form W-9 for the new owner(s)
For an Estate to receive payment while probate proceedings are ongoing, please provide a copy of the following:
- Death Certificate
- Letters Testamentary or Letters of Administration
- A completed IRS Form W-9 for the Estate including the Estate TIN
If the owner had a Life Estate, please provide a copy of the following:
- Death Certificate
- A completed IRS Form W-9 for each Remainderman
